About Me
A little bit about
who I am
My name is Matt Ambler and I'm a designer from Philadelphia. I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Advertising and a focus on Art Direction. I used to be a sponsored rollerblader and have appeared in several videos and a few magazines. I also have a strong love for cars, sneakers, and clothing. I've always been artistically inclined and am eager to display my abilities. I'm currently looking to fulfill my dream of working for a design firm or well established ad agency.
Where I have
previously worked
During college, I was privileged enough to earn a paid internship to a big ad agency in Philadelphia called LevLane. I worked with their creative department helping to produce both print and web campaigns. After college, I went to work at Lunchbox Communications. I was both a Graphic Designer and Project Manager at Lunchbox. I designed websites, print ads, mass marketing e-mails, and directly interacted with clients to meet their desired goals.
My design skills
and knowledge
I have strong knowledge in Adobe CS4 products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and Flash. I also have strong knowledge of XHTML and CSS. I have basic knowledge of Javascript as well and continue to increase my knowledge of other programming languages. Design still remains my strongest passion. I am also currently attending night classes at Moore College of Art and Design to earn a certificate in Print and Web Design.
